Opinion Wanted
I'm planning on fixing a spot on the front bumper right under the headlight bezel where the paint is chipping off, and had a couple of ideas for the front end. Just wanted to see what others think would look the best.
The PO painted the jeep and painted right over the grille, and I went back with black paint and painted the inserts. I'm thinking of changing it up a bit, but not sure exactly.
Here's how it sits now:
Here is one way I was thinking of doing the front end. Buy new black bumper end caps (the whole end caps, not just the black portion in the picture) and paint the grille black like so:
Or should I keep the bumper end caps the same color, and paint the grille black and the headlight bezels black? Just wanted to hear what others think.

Attachment 121291 I think keep it the same color, It was an option offered by Chrysler. Listed on the build sheet as APAS Monotone Paint.

Keep the grille the same or the bumper caps? I kind of like the look of the black in the front, just not sure if I want to do all black or just some portions black. I also want to tint the turn signal lenses.

I'm digging the black grille but the corners just make it look unfinished. For a different look how about doing the bumper in between the corners in black and leave the corners red?

I like the black grill and just take off the bumper caps lol
but if you arent I like them black too with the red bumper but black everything else up front. I have a white 99 and I'm gonna paint the grill and headlight harnesses black.
EDIT: you gotta do around the headlights too

marshalXJ, did you just use rustoleum type spray paint, or krylon fusion? And is that a semi-gloss, satin black, or flat black? I'm wondering if I should just buy new black pieces or paint them. How has it held up?

Here's a mockup I quickly did. I'm not sure what I want to do now as far as paint. I'm thinking of doing either black, or a gunmetal color to match my wheels. Here's a shot of my wheels as well. Either way I'm going to tint the turn signals and side markers.
