when i used to work in tech support i saw our macs crash regularly on a 30-min basis. of course, that was a few years ago.
also, as soon as i installed apple safari on my vista it crashed it... i've never before (or after, for that mater) seen a vista crash.

Vista for me, kept giving me problems, So when windows 7 can out I switched over to that. Seems to be fine now. (or no problems yet) Normally I dont jump over to every new windows version, (usually wait, to hear any good/bad reviews) But I was that feed up with Vista.

i swapped from vista to 7 and immediately had problems with slow down and freezing so i went back but i would run ubuntu if it was possible on this laptop. i have it on all hte other laptops and pc i have but this particular one, no one on the ubuntu forums has gotten to work on anything but vista or 7. something odd about it and me being the not trained at all and only screws around with stuff, i don't want to fry this laptop for the third time.

you know whats funny about this statement? we went to new york friday and went to the apple store that is underground and looked at those ipads. after checking htem out and talking with the apple reps there, they said the ipad is just a larger version of the itouch.

so much for getting one of those.

i have had no issues with vista either.

i like the windows systems, growing up on them since the days of dos and green screens, but i really like Ubuntu. how can a person not like it? everything that windows does but free. its like a dream come true.
