Comealong, and always wheel with another rig. Extra water and food is always good. I always have a first aid kit and pistol, can glue my finger back on and shoot some dinner with those.

I have a flashlights, some towels, jumper cables, and some hand tools. I am getting a Hi Lift and a winch soon. I just want to know what hand tools would be most beneficial to keep in the rig?

First thing you need is to have recovery points front and rear. A tree strap, at least one recovery strap 30 foot long, at least two shackles, and never use chain as a recovery tool, it can be dangerous.

First aid kit, a good one, not the kid size. Fire extinguisher, axe and shovel.

Required tools, look at your Cherokee and figure out what you would be comfortable with doing on the trail, then look to see what tools you would need to do those repairs.
Spare parts, only those parts that you would be able to change on the trail. ( u joints, tie rod ends, maybe a fuel pump, axle shafts, etc. )

If you go camping without a gun in some parts of this country you may get eaten by a bear.
