Do you think just bolting metal panels from the oil pan to the tranny it acceptable for skid plates?

Um I wouldn't do it. Just go to a junk yard and find a jeep with factory plates.

Yea its fine, just drill a hole through the pans and use a rubber washer on each side to keep fluid from coming out.

Recovery points, spare parts/fluids, M/T Tires, full size spare, and the right attitude (not being a wuss, scratches and dents happen, deal with it)

all of this would do just fine. on a side note i hate wheeling with people that are scared to get a scratch when they have a very capable rig. it pisses me off and it turns out to be no fun for anybody. be willing to get dents and scratches, it just makes it more fun and interesting

I'm fine with dents and scratches, but I just don't want to really mess it up. I'm 17 and it is also my dd, also I was going to buy some frame inforcers, that seem like an ok idea?

dont worry about armor unless you see rocks. and the first thing I would want for rocks are sliders anyway which havent been mentioned.
I'd just do used 31" tires and recovery points then go from there
