I just purchased my first xj! It's a 2000 4door 4x4 with 158000 miles for 2250. It felt like a good deal and I was able to buy it off a friends family. Now the bad news. I picked it up Saturday and it over heated on the drive home. I plan on flushing the system and possibly changing the tstat this weekend. They blew a head gasket around 40000 miles ago and had a lot of work done to it. I'm hoping this isn't a big problem. This is going to be a Daily driver for sometime and I know the blower motor doesn't work or the ac so that is another problem I have to fix. Overall I feel like I didn't get totally screwed and I think it's going to be a good first project.
