Default Off Road Misc.

Hey guys, I know alot of you are gonna find this thread stupid and of a pointless post, but im getting my license in a week, and have been building my XJ for around 2 years. I look forward to vast amounts of off roading and camping. I am just curious of what you guys who have been doing this forever recomend to keep in an "off-road" bag? I was going to just buy a multi socket set from SEARS, but figured that with my luck it would not have what i needed most of the time and half would never be used. I know essentials like oil, water, screwdrivers, flashlights, knife, tape, first aid, hammer and pliers, but what are some safe heavens to keep for emergencies?

things i have:

spare radiator hoses (upper and lower)
fix a flat
tire plug kit
baling wire
tow strap
engine accessory belt
brake fluid
power steering fluid
fuses
electrical wire and connectors
first aid kit
emergency blankets (thin tinfoil type)
bungee straps
ratchet straps
10 in X 10 in board to support jack on soft ground
high lift jack
fire extinguisher
trash bags
zip ties
water (when wheeling)
jumper cables
swiss army knife (pretty fancy, but still cheesy)
screw drivers
vice grips
wire stripper
JB weld (it's small and cheap. why not?)
military shovel

......thats all i can remember without looking

i find that i can never remember what i wanted to buy when i get to the store. when you think of things that might be handy on the trail just write them down. then you can prioritize the list. any of these things are cheap by themselves, but when you put them together they add up to a chunk of change.

I carry a good length of heater hose. Otherwise most of what I bring has already been mentioned.

a good pair of gloves may come in handy. Do you have a tarp? That with some paracord could make a nice little shelter. I personally would also keep a few different ways to make fire (lighter, and a few other options as well) also some food like cliff bars. All these aren't necessarily for wheeling but just good items to have in your vehicle just in case.
