there is a gas station just north of me about 10 min that sells midgrade 89 octane with out any ethanol in it
Is it worth the extra money and drive for it?
I know on newer cars it doesnt matter, but on a 99 jeep cherokee it might
If anybody out there has run non ethanol gas and noticed any improvements or change, good or bad please let me know
I would like to try it and see if it helps.
I dont drive alot, so the extra money for it is not a issue
but if its money wasted, then i will go to mobil down the street
Please comment only if you tried it...Not really looking for opinions if you havent run it in your jeep..that dont help me at all

My stock 99 jumped from 320-330 miles a tank to 340-350 non ethanol. The difference in cost from ethanol to non ethanol was not worth it for the couple of tanks I ran.
That being said, ethanol is still garbage.
I might try it again with my new exhaust setup and see what I get.

ethanol attracts water. its also hard on factory rubber lines and seals that arent designed for it. i put in a full tank of shell v-power (no ethanol) every two months or so, but i dont notice a difference. i just do it for a little peace of mind i guess.

im worried about water while it sits most of the week
i guess i would have to see how much the cost difference is between the two and compare
It doesn't make enough of a difference in my XJ to be worth the extra cost for non ethanol gas. Makes a big difference in how my motorcycle runs though, it doesn't like ethanol, or low grade gas at all.
