I was crowing about how everything was working on my recently-acquired XJ only to have a brake line spring a leak! So enjoy it but don't tempt fate, pride goes before a fall!

Could be worse. Some years ago I bought an old clunker and whipped it into shape, was bragging to friends about how everything was now "just right" -- and proceeded to get T-boned by a guy running a stop sign.

 

Those people have neighbors that have seen way to much.

 

mitchellsk..... That's a clean looking stock Cherokee. I want to find me a clean stock 4x4 xj and put aftermarket bumpers and a roof rack. They're plenty capable stock with a locker and the right tires

 

Not truly 99... it hasnt had any issues now for around 2500 miles when I put a new CPS in and that stopped all the random dying.

Actually I wanted to vote for COTM but can't yet and also haven't posted in a while.

 

Thanks 93_, I took me 3 months of watching CL for it to pop up a few years ago. Got it from the original owner and he had all the maintenance & repair receipts for everything.

I've had a few major issues but it's a good one.
