'05 WK: Speedometer Not Working, All Other Gauges OK

'05 WK: Speedometer Not Working, All Other Gauges OK
Hey guys,
So my dad has an '05 GC WK 4.7 with 211,xxx original miles, we're the original owners.
Anyways, the other day we were driving it and I noticed the speedometer wasn't working. All of the other gauges are functioning properly. The EVIC screen alternates between the messages: 'SERVICE 4WD SYSTEM' and 'SERVICE ELEC. BRAKE SYSTEM', and the 'ABS', 'BRAKE', and 'Check Engine' lights are all on. The gear indicator digital readout is also working properly, as is the EVIC screen's digital readout.
My dad said that when the 'BRAKE' light came on, he thinks that's when the speedometer also stopped working.
What's going on? What could have caused it to stop working? We've had the Jeep for 10 years and we've never had malfunctioning gauges. How do we go about this? As I mentioned, everything else on the cluster is working as it should, except for the speedometer. Has anyone else had this happen before? Any help would be appreciated!
