Default nothing special....

Used my '2000 'XJ (175,000 mi) very hard last month. Long highway trip on Interstate and state highways. Alternated with lots of tough off-road to my cabin -- bottoming the suspension in holes, despite going slow in 4lo.
No problems. No overheat. Even the air-conditioning, long a minor annoyance in a Cherokee Sport, worked fine. Selec-trac (which has both fulltime and partime) was great. Feeling good.... hope you all are too.

Sounds like your in serious need of a lift and new suspension on your XJ just too get to your cabin.

You mentioned your AC my 99 blows so cold I have to set it to the lowest temp and blower fan settings. If I don't it will run it out its so cold even on the hottest days 100's.

In the winter the heater is about the same when it comes to the heat even the lowest settings will run you out and make you roll down the windows. Wish all the cars and trucks worked as well as the old Cherokee does. It was like this when I bought it several years ago, I have done nothing as far improving them.
