My take on NOS is that unless you are doing Jeep speed type stuff or high RPM hill climbs where high wheel speed is wanted it is pretty much useless. NOS would have zero use on a typical trail rig. Remember you can't just hit the NOS at low RPM's, that's what makes them go boom.

We used to spray starting fluid straight into the snorkle on our hummers in the Army. Made a difference but they were still slower than a Honda.

I had an old 6.2L Chevy that you had to start with ether made that thing rattle and ping worse than an old John Deere, can't imagine what it does to a running engine.

Why NOS? Nitrous oxide is nitrous oxide... You could probably save a lot of money by getting a brand other than NOS.

What did you want to use it for? N2O is going to be hard on that tired engine.

I'm betting the starter of this thread is under the age of 24 and is a huge fan of the Fast movies. A 50 shot to a worn engine, what could possibly go wrong? Jeeps are not ricers with fart pipes, they are not built for drag racing, they are built for utility and long life.
