Fords are VERY reliable. i have a buddy with a 91 f150 (same cab/bed combo)that has 320,791 miles on it and it still looks like the day he rolled it off the factory, its all about how well it is taken care of! he tows with with and has NEVER had a break down.
maybe another cherokee in your future i hope but get the ford washed, degreased, and repaired and you'll be very happy =]

More power to you man. If I didnt have my son I would have a truck to. I love my XJ but everyone needs a truck to. Doesnt the dude that runs this site run a f150 fourm also. You might wanna check that one out for some input on parts.
