well we bought our cherokee a few days ago after looking for awhile. i learned that nobody sells these things! i dont blame them after seeing how dependable they are and how long they last. we started paying attention to the amount of the cherokees on the road ,man they are everywhere!!(but very few with for sale signs in them.Anyway, what's yalls suggestions on the best way to find an owners manuel? thanks...

 

Welcome to CF from California. I would check E-bay for a stock manual or just go to Napa and get a Chiltons repair manual.

 

thank you for the reply, I probaly will try to get the chiltons.I'm new to the cherokee and dont know anything about the fluid maintaince,capacities, or anything...

 

as long as you do reagular maintanence they are pretty bullet proof

 

The Haynes manuals are really good too. They're about $25 at Auto Zone.

Congrats on the new purchase! I have had my Cherokee (XJ) for 9 years now. I love it! I can't kill this Jeep! I have had this XJ in some of this country's most extreme weather from the cold and now I live in the Sonoran Desert - Phoenix, Arizona. As long as you do some work here and there on the XJ it should last forever! I have the Haynes Manual. Bought my XJ used without the owner's manual. Good Luck and enjoy it!
