Nice comanche if someone is looking
This is for sale up the road from me so I had to take pics and post them here.
Not sure if the asking price is reasonable but the description on the window says it all.
The tires are LT 235 /75/ 15.
Appears to be mildly lifted but not sure as I don't know much about Comanches.
Location Alpharetta, Ga, zip 30004.
I thought the color was midnight blue but it looks lighter than it did last night when I first looked at it.
very clean vehicle and the rear springs appear very stout as you can see in the pics, also the diff's looks very dry and no visible leaks underneath.

I would probably walk up to him with 4-k in hand and see if he would bite especially since he said OBO which means he really wants to sell and is open to negotiation.

I think it's worth it though I would definitely try to get the price down. Its not every day we see Comanches still on the road and in THAT good of condition. Nice find!

Okay, i just talked to the owner OTP.
He said is has a lift, not sure what brand but had it at a shop that put the new 4.0-6 motor in it and they were not sure of brand but it had beefier control arms in it which tells me it was probably a quality lift.
He had it aligned and a new steering stabilizer put in to cure a death wobble that he would get only while towing a small trailer while cresting hills.
The motor has 10-k miles on it now cost him $2400 for the motor plus labor and all accessories involved.
He has owned it 4 years.
Flowmaster with dual pipes and turn downs.
New fuel pump installed a couple months ago.
New ignition coil.
I talked to him about price and informed him I posted it on a Jeep forum and he was happy with that and said he knows he will take a beating on the price and just wants it gone because he's tired of the 50 or 60 people he had come by to look at it and not make an offer.
He had two offers of $1500 and $2400 and said it insulted him which is understandable.
He's ready to park it in the shed because he's tired of dealing with tire kickers who don't know what they are looking at.
He asked me how much he should take for it and I told him if someone flashed $4,000 at you, you should take it and be happy, he agreed.
Well, there ya go folks.....we have a good idea of what we are dealing with and how much will take it.
Dangit! I wish I could afford this right now otherwise I would be doing my best to grab this before even hinting this thing was for sale , ha, ha.
Good luck folks, now someone make me proud and go ****** this thing up.

4000 for a 4x4 MJ that clean is not unreasonable the farther north you go. The super-trashed 2wds up here can go for $3000 plus.

its nice man... mines almost identical but with some add ons and i paid $2000... and mines maintenance is so far behind im about to pull and "freshin up" the whole drivetrain... then after a bit ill start on the body... 97+ swap or the wide fender kit with paint and all new trim and yatta yatta... pretty much restoring it into a DD mallcrawler...
