I was working on my cherokee the other day, and couldn't get one of the bolts to line up. I walked off and said I was gonna sell it and buy my trans am back...20 minutes later I went back out and got the bolt to go through was happy lmao

 

thats one of the resons I did my rattle can pain't job

 

When even after all of the problems it has given you with stuff breaking, you have never considered selling it. Not even when it sat in the shop for 2 days when I was nearly in tears of rage from that horrific water pump install.

 

When you see a lifted one for sale and you think about it all day till you can get off hurry over there to where it is, and nearly wanna cry when ya see that it's a welded up scrap metal made lift.... Ugh

 

Lol i've thought about selling my 96 a few times. Its had a few problems that made me really mad haha

 

when you have a nightmare the night before about your jeep and you go runing out to your xj and spend 5 hours makeing sure everything is ok

its my first jeep(and my first ride) so i am a bit loveing a bit to much sometimes lol

its ok tho you know you drive a jeep when you bought it for 500
and did sooo much work it would sell for close to 8500(but would never ever sell it)

 

YKYDAXJW it hasn't rained in Texas for almost 2 months, so you've been riding around with no doors. Then all of a sudden, a 10% chance of rain turns into a downpour at 4am and your in the garage for 6 hours wet vacing all the water out and drying everything. And it still works perfectly fine.

 

When it hasn't rained in months, and so any time you turn the A/C on you don't get that familiar smell of mud, just a puff of dust to the face.
Not to mention- when it's 106 out and you still grumble when someone makes you turn the A/C on...

 

110° in June on the way back from DC, in Park on the highway due to rush hour traffic. No shirt, 4 empty water bottles on the passenger seat, I could feel the heat coming off the asphalt, and I had my arm out the window begging for a breeze. I'm a little stubborn

 

You know you drive an XJ when your A/C doesn't work, but thats ok because that's one less step required to convert it to an OBA pump. (draining the freon)
