Well here's your problem your comparing your XJ with trucks, it is not a genre of vehicle its an XJ! That when you know you drive an XJ too lol

 

Too bad my struts work. All the kids around here think any IFS Truck with Dual pipes and mud dawgs kills kill me now.
But he proceeded to say when he realized it was a inline 6 " Damn they still make these POS's?" no they stopped in 01. " no wonder they stopped cause it was a POS." Thats why they get 250k Easy.

Btw this guy drives a half *** painted flat black dodge ram single cab LWB. Ugliest thing ever.

 

Chrysler stopped using the l6 because they had trouble keeping up with emissions but several car manufacturers still use them. My parents have an '08 envoy with a 4.2l l6.... it's an animal with 285hp and an aluminum block.

My hatch struts still work, but the interior panel on the hatch likes to fall off lol

 

My struts just started failing sporadically. I learned that lesson the hard way when the hatch ate me.
And the I6 is making a comeback, I think. Maybe not widespread, but Chrysler did just put out a new 4.7L I6 last year.

 

Yeah my interior pannel used to fall off. I ripped it off and put wood back there. Doesnt look the best but I like it. Plus now the magnets on my speakers arent up against the hatch. Used to sound very strange outside the jeep
