Default New U-Joint Bolts.

So I'm in the market for a set of new u-joints in the front of my 99' XJ. I've found the necessary instructions on how to do it but the only thing preventing me from doing it is finding the specs and the best place to get all the bolts and nuts I'm going to need to do the job. I want to replace all the small hardware and keep it in good shape. Anyone know where I can look and get specifications on bolts and nuts for certain jobs?
Im also going to be doing leaf spring replacement shortly after as they are needing replacing badly. I've never done either of these so some info on what I should replace and the comparability of parts would be outstanding. I dont want to start and end up not having something important.

Precision 43710 is your bolts and straps. Oreilly keeps them in stock. Any parts store will have them and all the brands are pretty much the same. These work front and rear.

Jeep Cherokee XJ Front Wheel Hub Replacement - YouTube
The u-joints are attached to the axle that he isn't pulling out im assuming?
Also I'm curious if I should replace the wheel hub while I'm in that area anyways. And if so, what kind of hub should I get thats not to expensive but is still a good buy?

(I'm curious if I should replace the wheel hub while I'm in that area)

This doesn't seem like the safest way to lift.

So just your average hub will do the job just fine then? Ill do that...might as well.
Hah damn looks like my new lift kit is going to be post-poned a little while.
Well im glad thats figured out. Should I go for a tougher set of u-joints all around? Also my leaf springs are sagging which is why I was going to just get an all around new lift instead of just adding a leaf. But since I'll be waiting on the lift would t be a good idea to buy a cheap AAL for the time being. I mean my ride is real bouncy...like there's no sitting still back there. I've found cheap AAL's for around $40.

Hah Geez well I'm definitely in the same boat then. My good jack I can't seem to find so I'll be running close to the same set up he's got minus the garage.

I wouldn't be balancing my Jeep on that small piece of wood to jack it up.

Why? There's not really a whole lot at stake... it's just a couple inches off the ground. The jackstand is there too.. plus the top of the jack is flat so there's not really much balancing going on. It's ghetto but ya gotta do what you gotta do. It's not the safest thing sure, and I wouldn't get under the vehicle but since he's just doing the hubs it's fine IMO.

Agreed! I'd probably go with the cinder blocks I got lying around. Ghetto, but stable nonetheless.
