Hello, board. Just wanted to say, wow there's a bunch of awesome info on this board. Well, we (family) just bot a 1990 Cherokee (auto, 4x4, 31" BFG all terrain, and 3" pro comp lift)from a 2nd owner. The PO did mention the 1st owner had the engine rebuilt at around 250,000 miles . Per the PO (2nd) it staysd parked at their cabin as a get-around vehicle when they would sfay at the cabin. Currently it has like 295,000 miles. I've already pulled the throttle body and cleaned it all up. Wow, i have no clue how it even ran before. It was horrible, i literally had to spy it and chip through the grime till it was good enough to scrub if with a toothbrush. Next on the list is gound through all of the ground connectors. Pics to follow. I look forword to going through threads and gathering future jobs to add to the to do list. Great forum guys/girls....

Thanks Cruiser54. yes I've already been to your link and saved it to my desktop and mobile bookmarks. kinda wish it wasn't so "vintage" but for $1000 and in its condition i couldn't pass it up. summer is almost here and the kiddies are the perfect age to pass on the wheeling and outdoors bug..thanks again for the welcome.
