Default New lift. Have issues.

So I lifted my Heep this weekend and ran into a few issues. The front sits 3/4" lower on the driver side than the passenger side and the rear is 1/2" lower on the driver. One of my front bumpstops was pretty much non existant (need to replace) and one of the coil retainer bolts stripped out. I guess I will have to tap that to a bigger size? Has anyone else had any of these problems? BTW it's a 4.5" Rough Country will full leafs. Thanks guys.

They springs should settle. Things to look at, are the coils turned the same direction? Both have the rubber isolator? I vote for tap that hole.

One thing you may want to do is look on the springs and leafs and see if the part number matches side to side. Usually Manufacturers put them on new springs and leafs.
Are the front springs in the right locations? IE: Both turned as far as they can go so the bottom of the coil is locked into the stop?
Mike
If all else fails you could jack up the front by the unibody so the coils droop to their max. Measure the overall heigth of the coils to see if you received matching parts.

Oh and are the tops of the coils seated?

when you installed the lift did you tighten all the control arm bolts and leaf spring bolts before you put the tires on and sat it on the ground? I'm don't know if it's the case with yours but I do know that when I was younger and I tightened the bolts before sitting the vehicle on the ground I would sometimes get a difference from side to side because the bushings in the control arms would bind up from hanging in the air and tightening them... I learned to always do the final torque while the suspension is in the normal position (on tires and flat on the ground, I would even bounce it up and down a couple of times to settle everything in...) When I did my Rough Country lift I was lucky and everything sat evenly... Good luck with it...

I have the same lift.

This happend to mine too... Its the springs they had to settle. Give it a oil change period (3,000 miles) and you will start to see it level out.

Thanks guys. I figured it would settle after a bit. It looks good. I just eed to finish up a couple things and get my new tires. I still need to install the t-case drop, get my adjustable track bar, replace the front brakes and I should be driving again. Thanks for the input.

Not trying to beleager this... but if the springs were manufactured with tight quality control shouldn't they all be equal even though they are new?
Smell what I'm steppin' in?
I believe something else MAY be amiss!
