Maybe take a saw to that plastic bumper and mount it inside.

It looks recessed enough in that bumper that you wouldn't crush it unless you decided you were Hulk and were going to run over a tree with your WJ.

I've hit a lot of things with mine and they don't break.

^ Mine did not break either when i went into the trees at 25 mph while offroading in the snow. Was not a direct hit on the light but it bent and twisted the bumper, light is bolted to bumper.
Had to chop down some saplings to get out, and I always wondered 'why carry an ax', now I know.

I like that look of it on the inside but I like it more at the bottom

i need to fab up bumper for my ZJ that i can mount a lightbar inside of and protect my radiator from underneath.
