Default New ignition

My ignition is stuck on my '75 Cherokee and won't switch off. Now, in order to kill the motor, you have to disconnect the battery manually. Now I need to disassemble the column and I'm new at this. Any help at all would be appreciated and does anyone know where I can order a new starter?

Have you tried an auto parts store for the starter? You will have to pull the steering wheel off and dig deeper to get to the ignition cylinder, but the actual switch in lower on the column down by the brake pedal.

Yeah, and none have it. I've ordered one from JC Whitney and I almost have the column disassembled
