I have come up with a way to use a standard shifter ball on an automatic transmission. It still retains the factory safety, and works good so-far. Instead of having a button on top or to the side you simply push down and the transmission can be shifted normally.
The one I made for myself is out of stainless steel, I'm thinking a production unit would be made out of aluminum and be anodized
It consist of two parts, one slips over the shifter shaft and is secured by set screws, the other piece is for the ball to screw on to.
It uses the spring pressure of the lockout pin to hold the ball up.
Really just trying to see how much interest there would be in a product like this.
Price is not set yet but would be somewhere between 50 and 75 dollars depending on cost of anodizing and material. That would be for only the adaptor, that way you could use the **** of your choice.
Thanks

I'll take a better picture in the daylight, can't really see it good in the picture I took tonight.
What would be a fair price?
I saw where a guy on here is selling pool ball ***** for manuals, but he hasn't come up with anything for an auto. With this any manual **** would work . I'll get better pictures tomorrow.
Thanks
