Poss lock system? As in " 4x4 Posi Lok" or similar (These guys- http://4x4posi-lok.com/) or a Pass Lock System as in the GM theft system? I'm assuming the first?
If so....
Pros: Gives you the advantage of 2wheel drive LOW (Torque with no binding), can easily change from inside the cab, won't disengage when ignition is off/ diff is under water.
Cons: It's not a locker- though I think it will work with one. I don't know of any real cons.

To elaborate a bit more... you can put the transfer case in 4Low and use the posi lok to put it in 2wd.

Ok so I just replaced my flex plate. I have the 4-0 automatic. After replacing the flex plate there is still a clacking sound coming from what sounds like could be either the bell housing or my front pod. Im starting to get pissed. Any suggestions for me .im really trying to get this whole jeep thing down
