The wife rolled and totaled the the 2012 Wrangler Unlimited Sport on the 4th of July, but thanks to having good insurance, I now have a 2012 Rubicon!

The right front wheel and knuckle was ripped off and the axle tube was bent almost 90 degrees under the Jeep. The wife only had a few bruises and a dislocated rib or two from the seat belt. I searched all over for Rubicon that was 2012 or newer with a six speed. I found this one with only 55k miles on it, it wasn't much more than a used sport. The Wrangler holds its value pretty well. I paid 27k for the white one with a soft top. The insurance appraised it at 29k and I owed 23k at the time of the accident. This unfortunate accident turned out for the better, I finally got my dream car. Now my ZJ is just collecting dust in the driveway.

I hope your wife is okay after that.
Looks like you made a good purchase. I bought this 2012 Rubicon April 30th for $32,000 with 16,400 miles on it. I have 20,700 miles on it already. I love the driveability.
I know they're expensive, but they hold their value.

Most important thing is your wife wasn't badly injured thank God for that everything else is just money........But damn that's a sweet new ride you picked up and I'm sure the ZJ will see more use as soon as the new wears off the new one.
If I would ever buy a new Jeep that would be it no doubt.

The insurance paid off more than what I paid for the white one, but I still purchased gap insurance on the new one. You MUST buy gap insurance when you finance a vehicle. I got burned once by not having gap insurance, saving 800 bucks cost me 9 grand on a vehicle that was only a couple years old when it was totaled.

$33 for a 4 door Rubi doesn't seem too far off. A local lot here has a 2 door 2012 Rubi, 6 speed with low miles for $28, but it has been sitting there for over a year
