Post some pics maybe?

I bought another XJ recently knowing of the rust on the front floor pans and trans funnel. I couldnít pass it up given the overall condition of it, being rather excellent. For me the rust was just another bargaining chip.

Im absolutely convinced these are easy fixes and will be doing the same to mine.

Look into some 120v - 140v flux core welders, cheap and all you need. Pretty easy to operate. Floor pans from Quadratec and maybe a couple scrap pieces of sheet metal. Clamps and paint for a nice fit and finish.

pretty much everything under there regarding body panels should be safe to remove/replace aside from full sections of the frame rail.
