Guys I'm kinda stuck on what to do right now. I have an 87 xj with a non disconnect hp30 and factory d44. Right now it's sitting with
A busted front axle shaft and two bad unit bearings. I also recently acquired a hp44 and 9" full width axles. I'm at a bit of a stand still bc I'm not sure what I wanna do. The trails here in WV seem to be
on the tight side so that makes me worry about going full width. I could also just build up my front axle that's under there now. Lastlly, I have a guy interested in trading me a Comanche that won't start and is mostly stock. I've always wanted an mj and I would like to have a good platform to start fresh with. I would appreciate your alls opinions on what I should do.

I bet it will be cheaper easier to get that MJ started than it will be to fix your busted axle. Most likely a bad crank sensor in the MJ.
