Default Need motor mount bolts

None of the general hardware stores near me have any long enough.

I will try Fastenal today since they were closed yesterday. Any other ideas?

I'm assuming you're talking about the thru bolts? I know Brown Dog sells em. I doubt you would want to wait for them to ship and all that though

There is a fastenal near my work. Gonna call em when I have time, but work is busy of course.

Butter bolts as through bolts in your motor mounts? Can you say "shear pleasure"?

We may be discussing this problem again in a couple weeks...

Butter bolts?

I'm getting grade 8 equivalent, hardened steel bolts. They won't fail.

I had to cut one of mine off to get the damn thing out. I replaced it with a LCA or leaf spring bolt, I forget which but I believe they are the same bolt.

I just use grade 8 in these mounts.

The mounts I have are similar, but seem to have more meat than the ones you pictured.

And grade 8 doesn't exist in metric, a different standard is used. Its grade 10.9 or something...
