Need Help Deciding on a Color
Alright first off no laughing at my shotty Photoshop skills...
Due to my current white paint taking a dump and michigan salt forcing me to do some much needed body work. Im going to be doing a Rattle Can paint job. (The right way with prep ect. ect.)
I've decided I want some form of flat finish. Some OD green and Khaki jeeps have caught my eye so i tried my best to replicate it on mine.
Chime in if you think another color would look better.
OD Green
Tan
Sorry for the Screen shots it was the only way it would upload.

Personally, I think the tan looks better than FLAT green, so if you are going flat, I'd say tan.
Really, I'd pick another color, because the flat tan has already been done, and done EXTREMELY well on this forum:
Why not flat white, stormtrooper style? Then you wouldn't have to worry about under the hood.

Well I have to undercoat everything anyways (10 years of michigan winters has taken its toll) trying to take advantage of the dry west while im here. I know my photoshop skills blow hardcore
I agree both colors have been done many times before. I dont like white I have it now and its bland to me. However I am open to other colors.

IMO, you have to be careful with flat paint. You might end up with:
Black doesn't get dark enough, ends up looking like primer.
Grey/silver looks like primer.
Red ends up looking pink.
Blue can sometimes not be the color you intended.
So from that standpoint, you at least know what you are getting with green and tan. Tan is winning 10-0 over green right now, so that says a lot about how overdone green is. Also of note is that "Other" has 0 votes, which speaks to the popularity of the tan...
If I were doing it and those were my choices, I'd go matte tan with factory-style decals in whatever accent color I was using. Good luck!
