need assistance

can someone please advise me how to resolve my reverse lights only working when i giggle the gear shift

Yes. Dirty NSS (neutral safety switch) A little difficult to remove, but easy to disassemble/clean/assemble once it's out. Here's one of the better 'how to' articles I've seen.

The NSS also prevents your jeep from starting in gear, and when it eventually gets bad enough will prevent it starting in park and neutral as well. I did it.. if you have a few tools, so can you
