Nates 4x4
So I'm waiting on a front and rear bumper with tire carrier from Nates and in wondering if any one else here has a bumper from Nates and if so how do you like it?
Another question I have is what paint should I use? I dont want it to be textured and I want it a gloss black. I want something sturdy enough to last (of course). Any recommendations?

X2. Its the only worthwhile way. Shop around, ask around your area. Find a quality powder coater, don't just go with who is cheaper. Trust me. Done by a quality shop you will love the finish for years.

I have Nate's front and rear bumpers. The front bumper threads through the steering box.. Be Careful... Mine was off a little bit and I broke all three steering box bolts and then another one after I replaced them. If it looks off at all get a metal file and file the metal all the way down.. I know you will be excited to install your bumper but take the time and file it down.. It will save you alot of time and money in the future.. Believe me.. Speaking from experience.

I have front and back bumpers from nates and if you wanna save a couple hundred bucks I would definitely recommend them. I've hit the bumpers on trails and been rear ended and they hold up great

I used a good bed-liner.
Epoxy paint works great too. Forms a hard shell. No primer needed.
The bedliner is thick and has worked good for the 2 years on the jeep in the salt-air. Semi-gloss.
It holds the hi-lift bar and has a Smittybuilt 'beaver step' in the receiver.

Yes it's Nate's. I like it.
It ties into the unit-body rail where a hitch would bolt to.
And it did not add weight. It weighs the same as the stock bumper and hitch that was removed.
The gap works good for rear lights and for a cantilevered table for a mini-kitchen or flying RC planes.
