ZJ Tie Rod for the Cheap
Tired of always getting PMs regarding where I got a ZJ tie rod cheap, etc.
Sure..you could go to a JY and get one..but then you most likely need new TREs, etc.
This is what I do..go to advanceautoparts.com
Add part numbers:
DW-ES3096L (Tie rod End)
DW-ES2079S(Adjuster Sleeve)
DW-DS1312 (Rod with 1 built on end)
Finally use coupon code: A124 (I believe it is 25 of of 70, or 40 off of 110).. I usually add at least 70 dollars total to my shopping cart (items cannot be on sale) then apply the coupon code. I always pick the stuff up in store, shipping is just an extra cost. If you select in-store pickup you pay online, and they will have your order waiting for you when your ready.
Sure, these are not MOOG parts..but I have had 0 issues out of any of these. The ends remain tight after some nasty wheeling trips, and iirc all of these parts carry a lifetime warranty.

Also, I usually upgrade the nuts and bolts that are included with the ADJ sleeve with grade 8 hardware. I have stripped out the nuts and bolts that come with it every time.
Grade 8 is just a piece of mind.

Matter of fact just last week I bought a ZJ tie rod for my TJ.
Got all tie rod pieces, 3 packs of shop towels, a mopar oil filter, new NGK spark plugs, and a set of plug wires for like 70 bucks total.
