I rear ended a malibu last saturday with my XJ. I was doing 10 under the speed limit and it was raining, I was on a winding lakeside road and was coming around a blind corner. As soon as I got around the bend, I saw a car sitting only 10 feet in front of me and had no room to stop. I locked up my brakes and slid straight into the car, totaling it.

I was doing about 30 mph and my Jeep only had a couple scratches on the bumper and a crack in the grill. What sucks is the airbag never deployed so my head hit the steering wheel pretty hard.

What REALLY sucks is the cop who came to the accident scene wrote me a ticket saying I was "following too close". I never saw that malibu till I hit it so obviously it isnt the case. I'm just hoping I'm able to win in court.
Good luck, seems like they won't make you pay the ticket

I was wondering what you were leading me into there for a minute, I clicked on the Photobucket link and it says " Dicksboatsfs" Big black & Holly" sounds like the title to a movie made by Vivid Video lol. All bs aside, you are definantly blessed.

I found it odd, they split apart like that.

Lol, yea I set up a Photobucket for my Dad's boat when he was selling it, and kept using it after... The Hummer is called Big Black, but that link should have taken you to a Car domain page.

Yeah those wheels were really good looking, but if the lip that the bead seals to somehow splits, they were unsafe lol.

Go to the police station to see if they apprehended the other driver and got his information. You can try and sue him for the damages and fleeing the scene of the accident.
