BEFORE







The Jeep was rear ended in CT early Monday morning. I was going 53 and they hit me so fast it felt like I was standing still. I instantly got pushed into the passing lane and flipped. I skidded on my roof before coming to a stop. I was trapped in the vehicle for ten minutes as my seat belt wouldn't unbuckle and the car that hit me fled. Cars and trucks swerved around me but no one stopped for ten minutes, I was so afraid I was going to get hit again, and be killed... plus I smelt an electrical fire. I'm very lucky to be alive and the Jeep kept me safe.

Glad your ok. Sorry to hear about the jeep. And sorry to hear about the Rude people now a days?!?! If you see someone on the roof on their car upside down you are suppose to stop and help! Not drive around?

I never saw the vehicle coming up on me, I don't think they had their head lights on, that's what made is such a surprise when they hit me. The cop thought I had a blow out cause my tailgate wasn't smashed then I pointed out all the white paint on the bottom of my bumper then he believed me (and my exhaust was bent). The person who hit me was found down the road with their front end all smashed up. A white sedan from what I could see looking out of the back of the ambulance window when we passed them.

I'm glad you are ok! Same thing happened to my buddy a lady pulled out in front of him rolled his ZJ 3 times. It was a nice looking jeep, but it did it's job! Unibody was designed to look like that after a crash unfortunetly, but designed to save your life. Always another jeep never another you. Keep us updated! I really wanna know what happens to the other person, it's bull how insurance doesn't give a rats *** either.

I wonder what kind of vehicle hit you like that and was able to get away.

Oh and Jeep/Hummer same thing nimrods don't understand the relation.

On the more serious note. Sorry to hear about the xj... My opinion. Is buy it back from insurance if they take it. It would be like a a whole 300$ bucks lol. And then start another build. Best of luck to you man. Are you in any damage at all ?
