So, I've been on here for a couple months now. I have owned 3 XJ's and won't ever look back.
My mother has never understood the Jeep thing....UNTIL NOW!!!
She lives in Oregon and I live in Montana and she has been watching my newest XJ come together from bone stock to what it is today.
She surprised me today and went to the stealership and traded in her Mazda Tribute for a 2008 Grand Cherokee Overland with only.....32000 on the clock.
Apparently, this rig belonged to Ronald Reagan's advisor. It is absolutely pristine and immaculate.
She's beside herself. I'm so proud of her!!!
Had to brag on my MOM guys...she's finally steppin up.

I completely understand Killabrew. She's an amazing woman and she's already threatened to stop talking to me if I even think about putting parts on her new rig. My brother still lives back in Oregon and we're devising a plan to get rig with some new toys.
Mom's are the greatest thing ever.

2008 hmm... Is that a WK or WK2. I don't remember when they changed

 

I'm pretty positive its the WK. Think it changed in 09. Correct me if I'm wrong!

 

WK has solid rear axle. WK2 has IRS..

I ask cause those WK overlands got f/r electronic limited slips. That was something jeep did right and then the WK2 came out and jeep got dumb and droped the front limited slip.. Sad that they even went to Independent suspention to begin with but if your gonna do, you got to do right
