So my shackles are at 90º. I've never had any problems with that, but I've learned that suspension quality and articulation can be improved if I relocate that angle to something more like 45º.

So I'm looking into purchasing a relocation kit, which will apparently increase my 6.5 inch lift to close to 7.5-8 inches in the rear. That being said, I'm probably going to grab 8 inch coil springs. I wasn't that interested in coil spacers. Does anyone have any opinions about these by Skyjacker?

The shackle relocation kit I will be getting:

I already have the performance 2.2 shocks by Rough Country. Am I going to need different shocks for the increased height too?
Thanks for any comments.

Check out hd offroad shackle relocations you actually might not increase in height because when you relocate you will be angling your shackle at 45 degrees. http://www.hdoffroadengineering.com/...relocation-kit. I just ordered a set super fast shipping. I am waiting for install until I get my new bumper which should be done any day know.

Good point that putting it at 45º might level out the lift height. That's something that I forgot to think about and would save me a lot of money if it didn't increase the height.
If the worst comes to the worst, I'll have a taller back for a little while. ha

Yes please take this advice and reconsider the RC. Get HD and be better off. Although you will gain lift height no matter what

I ordered some HD Offroads for that same reason, 90 degree shackle angle and will be installing them this week. I chose HD after reading 20 pages of positive reviews on naxja. I pry to the XJ gods this fixes my rear
