Hey guys! Got an '01 sport 2wd. Running stock everything with no lift and 225 Destionation LE (road tire) and really want to go mudding with it. One thing I didnt notice though is that the p/o bedlined the bottom of the xj from the edge to about a foot in
. Since I really want to go muddin, what should I be prepared to happen (most common thing to break) considering this is my DD. What should I bring? This is gonna sound ignorant but this would be my first time and I currently have no recovery gear
. Does anyone adivse against this before I go and
up? Help a brother out? Thanks a lot!

Just went to the u pull it on 441 and griffinish. There were 3 xjs, I didn't look for any tow hooks but one had one of those baby hitches and one had a class 3 Reese style hitch, looked almost new. That would make a great recovery point in the back, just make sure you bring a jack because the hitch is sitting on the stands

Heck, dont let 2wd stop you. Best thing you can do is put in a locking diffferential. If you dont know what it is then look it up on youtube, they're expensive but they are well worth it for a 2wd jeep. Also recovery points like a hitch in the rear, that should be enough but hooks help too. Also get pretty agressive mud tires so you can get that extra grip you need. My Jeep is 2wd with 3 inch lift, locker and more stuff. Ill try to get some new pics up sense all my pics are from stock

, only 3 XJ's and all were before 98, which means they were already picked clean
. If I were to order some, who should I order from?
