i have an 86 2.8l. currently, i messed it up and now everything on it is brittle and breaking. i need to know what size of motor that i can put in that will allow me to keep my 5 speed manual tranny. i also need to find a motor that has a carb on it, not fuel injected, so if you know any motor that are like that, please let me know

 

Why would you want a non-FI engine? A 4.0 should fit fine but I think that 5 spd only went behind the little 4 banger not for sure.

 

Camaro 3.4. Search about that conversion.

Yeah the 5 speed can fit behind the 4.0, that's what mine is, idk about the older models though, mines a 97

 

different 5 speed trans
