OK im a cherokee lover obviously! BUT...i grew up around wranglers and ive always wanted a wrangler....


I have the oppertunity to sell my jeep and buy a 1992 wrangler with a cage 4" lift 33s and its geared 4.56

the motor has 98,xxx original miles on it! 4.0 that is! the transmission just got a new clutch! and theres not one leak anywhere!

or get a 97 cherokee (2 door) bone stock for 1500 with 180,000 miles and get a tire/lift kit for $1500

so what in the heck should i do????lOl

 

just keep your xj

the wrongler has less milage and sounds like its in better condition. does the cherokee leek any thing?

 

hey man i know what you mean about your want for a wrongler i have always wanted a 2door xj and a nothcback mustang 5.0
and now that i have had my 2door for a year im in search for that mustang

but its really up to you on this one the wrangler seems to be awesome you should post some pictures of it!!!!!!!!

 

You sound just like me except I like the four doors. Once I get my Jeep up to par and we get another house that has room for another car im going to search for some sort of fox body Stang to start working on.

Anyways on topic: if the.Wrangler is just an awesome deal that cant be bear id go with that and save for another XJ.

 

keep your XJ , DON'T get rid of it . what do she do to you , has she hurt you in any way ? if not keep her !

thanks for the opinions guys...but imma have to go with the trade on this one bc I also have my hands on another manche and its already built with a 4.6 stroker for $1000 so Ill be ripping my friends arm off! hes an idiot!lOl

if i deside not to do the trade then im probably still gunna sell the xj and get a newer one! Im tired of my renix! lOl

sound like you want this yj bad just get whatever makes you happy. xj, zj, yj, tj... they're all good for a right price.

 

Soft top or hard top? Hard top, go for it. Soft top Wranglers make nice weekend rigs, but not for the daily grind.

 

the guy has a soft top and hard top! and half doors and full doors! the half doors dont have tops but it doesnt really matter to me! lOl

BUT.....now he wants boot on top of the cherokee so i dont think its gunn happen! not only that I was just GIVEN...an 8.8 with 4.56 gears a TJ D30 with 4.56 gears and an SYE and drive shaft! now im workin on the same guy and tryin to get his half doors!

 

I now have my xj and a 98 stang, you going to keep both?
