molle storage for xj...
well, not so much premade, but alot cheaper...
looking at all the smittybuilt stuff that uses the molle system, and thought hell, there's gotta be a way to do that in the xj....
so after a trip to the military surplus store and the hardware store, the back of my jeep is organized.
the molle bags i got were $10-15 bucks, and the rails for mounting were under $2 a piece.
a few screws and some spacers so that the rails will stand off the back of the seat a bit allowing the straps to slide through and i was ready to hang the bags.
took about an hour total, including organizing all the crap i had in the jeep into the bags.
i figure i can always add more bags, and rails if need be
bags are set up left to right,
-quick detach medic bag with first aid supplies.
-bag of assorted junk, gloves, lightsticks, protein bars, water, etc.
-toolbag, oil, fluids, code reader, tools, etc.
-small tan bag is still empty
just thought i would share this with everyone, give another storage idea to ya.
