Default Messed up pretty bad

Well ive had the jeep for 3 years now and the only thing ive wanted to do to it was get it lifted. i bought used coils, leafs, control arms, JK shocks and a trackbar. When we put the lift on the leafs only put up 2 inches of lift and the coils put up 4 inches. The JK shocks were too short so they bottom out every bump i go over. The guy sent me two completely different arms with bad bushings and the trackbar needed new bolts and i just couldnt find them so we relocated the trackbar. And i did this all before it was 100 percent mechanically sound. The front driveshaft has play and the front axle has a thump in it. When im stopped the back of the jeep makes a coffee pot sound and vibrates. The rear main seal leaks as well. Its just been terrible so im goin to take the coils out and put the trackbar back and see what my mechanic says about it. Just wanted to get it off my chest

get shackles to even the rear, and if you got NORMAL JK shocks (sahara, well anything other than the JK RUBICON shocks) then they wont even be long enough for a 3" lift. Your shocks should be red and black. You can make some BPE's to get more out of the shock and make your life easier if you ever plan on replacing your shocks again. Then buy some control arms. That's a start at least

keep you head up and dont worry about the coffee pot noise, my xj makes the same dam noise sometimes and it seems to be fine, it comes from the gas tank.

This.

Also, it sounds like you switched some of your priorities with the Jeep around...make sure its mechanically sound first before you start playing with it.

Rubi and Sahara are the same length, it's the valving that's different between the two.

Yea i definently switched my priorities around. The sound in the rear is the tail pipe and im goin to get an alignment tomorow. It should make things alot better and my new steering stabilizer came in today. I know its just a bandaid for real problems of the geometry but it will get me by until i have the money. and i wish i could grab some beers but thats not until april lol
