Default mentor

I am new to this forum and jeeps in general I only have access to this forum on my phone and the search function is less than desirable. I would like to find someone who I could PM or email or whatever they desire my questions about my xjs I'm not going to ask questions openly on here because this forum seems to be really good at flaming people with questions. I just have a lot of questions and the search tool is not very mobile friendly.
That's all just looking for someone with experience specifically budget build type stuff so if you are interested in sharing let me know

Most people that get flamed do so for asking the simplest of questions, as in a question that has been asked a bajillion times and a simple Google search would have answered thouroghly. Others get flamed for asking advise, then ignoring all advise given.
You don't need a mentor, you need to do research FIRST, then ask.
PS, this forum is full of budget builds... have you looked?

I have looked on quite a few threads but like stated before the search doesn't work very well and no pictures show and I can't read instructions that don't have pictures as I'm illiterate.

Use google or bing search, very effective. Or this; https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f30/ho...eforum-184796/

Can you give some criteria you are after, I can get you started.

FWIW, I rarely use the search function on any forum. I search Google, most of the time that led me right to a thread here, which is why I signed up here.
If all searches end up nowhere, just ask the question. Or if you feel that the info is here, just ask "where can I find a thread about ______?".

Seems as though there is plenty of info on doing a 4-5 inch budget lift but I am only looking to go 2-3 inch
I am trying to figure out if I do bastardpack on back what do I do for the front and at 2-3 inches of lift what else do I have to do if it requires the same amount of work additional work to do a 2 inch as 4+ inch I might as well do the 4+ inch lift so I don't know if that makes sense

For close to 2" you can do a BB (budget boost) like this, and get away with little else. http://www.rustysoffroad.com/rustys-...r-shackle.html
For 3"+ it's sightly more involved (and costly), at 4.5"+ it's another level. In case you haven't seen it, here is a great chart...

So just go there and ask the question or just search through the pages, part of my problem is I am not familiar with the etiquette.

BTW can you tell me how to get rid of my death wobble?

Every Jeep has a different cure for DW, first step would be to inspect everything (EVERYTHING!!) on your current front suspension to see what is worn. Ball joints, bushings, hardware, etc...
