Default Maybe cowl intake???

So i am considering the cowl intake idea.. Been looking it up a bit and got a few ideas but am really looking to get some pros and cons from people that have it done. Plus my washer fluid tank is now where the stock airbox was and the cone on it is all shoved in and ghetto looking so something needs to change lol

Good mod, inexpensive, sounds wicked when you jump on the throttle, happy with mine...haven't got any cons so far. When I did mine I also did a tune up and the injector mod, made a noticeable difference in MPG and throttle response

stock airbox, stock filter....you could probably just make a box out of sheet metal for not much money, and that way you could custom fit it to your application. I used a hole saw to cut the firewall/cowl intake, and ran intake hose to the stock airbox. You could possibly make a cylinder as well that fits just over a filter and run it in-line to the intake

I got a cold air intake but i got some hose to turn my intake around and run it into my firewall and have the filter in the cowl, already cut everything out just cant find a narrow enough cone filter thatll fit inside.

Cowl intakes are cool. Some people don't like the noise, but they are effective to a certain point.
