My step dad had a explorer I call it the exploder all the time and it pisses him off. The best part is its a 4x4 but if you push the 4x4 button the front axle locks up and the truck won't move. LOL
I also have a family friend that bought a 2wd Cherokee. I ask him if he wants to go trailing then stop and say O I forgot you bought a 2wd LOL

Nahhh, I never make fun of other rides. Everyone has what they have for a reason. They might find me on the side of the road (jeeps can do that) and I would like a lift... know what I mean.

To me we all have our opinions I personally hate fords and since I have really gotten into the first jeep i owned hate everyone elses cars besides other jeeps it being that i drove a 92 rubicon as my first vehicle it really has nothing on my xj.....
So i have had my 1996 Cherokee for about 3 months I have had to replace the radiator a wheel bearing and a few more small odd things i have had my honda pilot for 3 years and i have changed the oil put almost 130k miles on it bought it with 30k miles still going strong oh and a big plus i could sell my jeep for about 3k if i am lucky and i could sell my pilot for a hella lot more......I love my jeep but its not the better of the two as far as practical use. Just from an educated standpoint.

Do you know how the XJ was driven before you bought it? Maybe not.And educated standpoints use periods and commas and capitol letters. I also know many people that have Hondas in that year range that have put a heck of alot of $ into them and never drove them offroad. Also your XJ is 14 years old .How old is the Pilot?
but that was totally for the guy that posted this thread saying that Honda's are junk. http://blogs.cars.com/kickingtires/2...utomakers.html
I am pretty sure this will sum it up.

matter of opinion... but I can't stand hondas either. And all these honda fanatics around where I live drive me nuts (some honda factories here in ohio). I've got family who work there who's wives will openly and ignorantly say "Hondas are the BEST!" because their husbands work there... while the husbands (the ones who actually work on their own cars, which isn't all of them) would never keep one past it's factory warranty. granted, honda makes som of the best single cylinder and 4 cylinder bike engines I've owned though. Just don't care for their cars or their v twins at all. again, just a matter of opinion. Though I gotta say, these xj's have proven themselves to be damn tough, durable, and capable machines.
