Maaco's are independently owned & operated.....results will vary.

I've had no less than 4 vehicals painted by my local Maaco, I was very happy with each vehical......I did do my own prep work though, and every vehical was stripped down to be 'just barely street legal' prior to bringing then to be painted. In my case, they did very nice work, paint lasted over 10 years in the Carolina sunshine. (black)

The only people I really know that use them basically do it to get more out of their vehicles. Pretty much everyone that has replied said the same thing, other than the 1-2 people saying they used them, but had to do their own prep woek...to me if you have to prep the vehicle yourself then why pay them to paint it? On a good paint job your paying mostly for the labor, and the majority of the time is in the prep work and buffing. I have personally never used them myself but do know a few guys that have, and to me its not worth it. I know a local guy in town that charges $2k to paint a whole vehicle +/- depending on the size, and he does real good work, but if you want door jams and all painted it will cost more, but the majority of the people go with the same color so its not a big deal (and maaco isnt going to do the door jams ect...if they did you would probably have your seats painted too from what these guys are saying lol)
