Spyin on me eh..
Joe bought a second hand Lockright (new) that turned out to be a no-slip missing 8 springs. I swapped everything to a new housing and reinstalled the old axles spiders to get him on the beach this holiday.
Locker can be installed later once parts are sourced.

I wonder if you could get a rebuild kit for the no-slip from Powertrax/Richmond?

BTW I bought the locker from here http://jaxed.com/cgi-bin/sd.cgi?cat=...cker&submit=go for $150 NIB and just needed a spring kit ($17) but do some research on it before you put it in so you don't drive your "Friend" KRAZY like I did to John. I was told it was a Richmond Lockrite but it turned out to be a Richmond "no spin" ..same idea , different install, spring kit, instructions...Joe

I had never installed a no-spin before, so i didnt know any better and wasted way too much time trying to figure out what was wrong here.
A guy at NAXJA knew exactly what the deal was and straightened me out.
Glad it worked out for the better and nothing was damaged. $17 is cheap in the grand scheme of things.

Thats it. The long skinny's go in the short fat's on two outside windows in drive gears. The 8 are saddles as you mentioned. The block may or may not be used on an 8.25... iirc it was not needed in a c-clip axle.

Yep. The skinny block is to measure the correct space between the two lockers after its put together. If the block fits in between the space its done the right way or so says the manual...Tj
