Default looking at a comanche

so i found a single owner 88 comanche with only 68,000 miles on it, seller wants 4500 obo, my question is do you think this is a good deal? it has new plugs, cap, rotor, fan belt, battery, air filter headliner. its got the 4.0 and its an auto. my question is, is this a reasonable price? i overpayed for my xj and dont want to overpay again. id also have to sell my xj if i were to get this mj... any thoughts?

sorry dont have pics of it yet just found it and somehow forgot to take pics

Wow that's high. My buddy, who happens to be on here, just sold his 87 for 800 bucks.

but that looks like a very nice truck. low miles and little to no damage anywhere is awesome for something so old.

Way too much to pay for that! The under carriage is full of rust.

Just seen a nice one on Fort Wayne, IN Craigslist with 99k, 5speed manual, and no rust for 2100. It was an 89 also i believe.

It's overpriced imo. My 5 speed MJ was only $350, rust free, with 165000 miles.

Overpriced.. a fair price would have been 2kish. Keep in mind it is 24 yrs old.. yeah it is clean.. but a vehicle that old with that few of miles could have hidden issues due to lack of oil on start up, plus parts especially rubber/electrical do go bad over time.

Overpriced. 2k tops.

This one sold last year for $3200.

1992 120k miles, 4.0 H.O., auto. Not a scratch on it, new tires, not one spec of rust. Mint condition. The only thing wrong with it was the purple tint.

That one is obviously rusty underneath, faded paint, engine compartment looks like crap. For 4500 I'd expect more like the truck that are in my pictures. Mint.

To me, that truck is in rough shape for the low miles that it has on it.
