No. There was someone on here who received a tire with a bad blend where the new tread ends on the sidewall of the carcass. He sent pictures and i think they sent him a new tkre for free but hes still running the original.

Fun fact: tractor trailers all run re-treaded tires.

retreads aren't a bad thing.

True and False at the same time, they cant run retreads on the front but everywhere else they can. The only thing i would do is check your local laws on retreads if its your DD. Most states its fine as long as your not a taxi driver

^^thats me lol, i just swapped the tires (all 4 had it and they sent 4 more) out last week finally as I had a 400mile trip outta town I had to take with the kiddos in toe, and I just didn't wanna risk it at 65mph+ on unfamiliar roadways, I bet they woulda made it, but still.

The "faulty" tires were purchased from me from the guy I had mount and balance the new set lol so as far as I know they'll live longer on another vehicle.

Awesome tires IMHO, I beat on those old ones to no end, so I'm sure the "good" ones will be even better. I highly recommend them to anyone.

im pretty sure they improved their molds and now there is no blend lines in the tread pattern like some older ones had, I know where my caps meet the sidewall they did a real good job, you cant tell they are retreads till you look up close

I just say that I have BFG MTR's to confuse people :P
