Default look what i found!!!

http://boulder.craigslist.org/cto/1854801844.html

i was in boulder for a week for a wedding and decided to check out what their craigslist had.

found this thing and everything came back to me, from watching this build on spike a couple years ago. this was the first cool XJ i can ever remember seeing.

oh, and i went straight to the pictures like i always do so when i saw a familiar looking xj and started reading up and was like, WTF thats awesome!!!!

Yeah, they got the jeep for free on the show, and did a bunch of JY parts. I thought they had invested somewhere around $6500.

Cool to know it's in CO.

yeah it was actually supposed to be the "cheap jeep" build on the show i remember seeing a few episodes. but with 12k into it (and it shows) its not really that cheap at all

as far as i can remember it started off as a the cheap cherokee, then when they found out the engine was only making like 50HP and stroked it, they went all out

i just want to know the final numbers that the engine is making, because the last episode i saw the said they were gonna test the new motor but they never did.

it was the project cheep jeep that started a stage one with a budget build. then they did stage two where they showed you how to bump it up a notch over the budget build. so it was two separate builds.

it is a very well built jeep, and if you've followed the build on the show, then you know how it was done. and it's all documented to boot.

good find, wonder what it will sell for?

yup, i personally like it better that way with the boxier body and the nice front end. i really want to try that if i can find a grill thats not bashed up at the pick n pull.
