Well there supposed to charge like 40 for it, but when you buy both wheels and tires there they hook it up somewhat. All i paid was the even 300+ tax and the install, valve stems, and locks were thrown in, they even boxed up my old wheels and through them in the back

Yes if you live in places like those you better have insurance for the loss it could have been the XJ they took and left the blocks for you.
Down here all I carry is liability Ins. the dogs lets me know when any body comes around anytime if that fails there is plenty of "Hot Lead". It has been heard several times here on the farm, varmint's you know of all kinds but NEVER same one twice!
Had a kid that thought he was stealing gas about 15 yrs. ago, NOT it was diesel from a 500 gal tank. He became very frightened and ran off leaving 2 5 gal fuel jugs and a nice pickup truck to boot with the keys in it. The next day a guy came out to get the truck said it was his kids, no problem told him there was a $100 parking fee on it if he wanted it back.... Or we could call the Sheriff's Dept. about a theft, wife and I went out for a very nice dinner that evening.

UPDATE: A few days ago my buddy who lives on the same block as the kid we think stole my stuff sent me a photo saying "Are your wheels 15x8 with a 3.75 backspacing, no center caps, and scratches on the inside?" That shocked me. I mean that's a dead on description of my wheels down to the scratches from the tire machine! I said yeah those are my wheels! And he replied "Well they're on his jeep."
Now, this kid lives 4 blocks away from me and my parents saw his jeep go up and down our block a few times the night the stuff was stolen. They had never seen the jeep drive on our block before then. I showed my dad the kids Instagram and he ID'd the jeep. That's why he's the suspect.
So I texted the kid for the second time. The first time he denied denied denied and tried playing the sympathy card. The second time was even more denying followed by anger at my "false accusations." Even though I now had proof that he was at least in possession of my wheels. Later that day I was at work and I got a text from the kid saying "call me when you get a chance I have to talk to you".
So I answered saying to text me because I was working and then I patiently wait for his reply. Finally he replies, "I found out they're your wheels." Only his actual message was extremely misspelled haha. So I told him he has until Sunday to return all of my stuff or else he's going to jail for Grand Larceny.
While I was at work the next day he showed up at my house and started unloading my wheels from his jeep. My mom noticed this happening and went outside to confront the kid. She pressed him hard. The kid was so shook he babbled and stuttered trying to come up with a story. "I uh, uh, I uh, bought them from a kid uh at a truck meet." My moms no fool. She saw right through the bs story and called him out on it. The kid did some more denying before my mom finally let him leave.
So now I have my rims. The most inexpensive part of the whole theft. I told him he has until Sunday before I add this proof to my police report and have them knock on his door. Since that text he's been constantly texting me from apologies to yelling at me because "he didn't do it."
That's all for now. Sorry for the long *** post!

Congrats on your partial recovery. He knows exactly where your tires are! Keep pressing him and fill out that police report if you don't get em back on Sunday. He stole your hard work and money. Show no mercy and keep us posted.
