did you know that "Zamboni had abandoned the tractor-sled concept for a design incorporating the chassis of a used a World War II surplus Jeep.The finished model, dubbed Prototype No. 3, featured all aspects of the resurfacing process in one vehicle, including an elevated tank designed to hold all the scrapings and snow gathered in a single resurfacing. Again, the design was unsuccessful, but parts from Prototype No. 3 were eventually used to construct an ice resurfacer that met Zamboni's performance criteria" jeeps have so many diffrent uses gotta love them. i did not know this till my girl told me about it.
